Send FlowersCharles L. Burton died peacefully at home on October 24th, 2025. He is survived by his wife Theresa and his daughter Tiffany Ailsworth (West). A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8th, at First Presbyterian Church of Lynchburg Virginia.

Theresa, Cyndy and I were shocked and saddened to hear that Charlie had died. After we were neighbors in the eighties, so many years ago, we have lost touch, but both wanted to send our condolences to you and Tiffany for your loss. Theresa, I am so sorry to learn of Charlie's death. When our family moved to Trents Ferry Road in 1956, the Burtons were out next-door neighbors. Charlie was 6 and I was 10. He was a frequent visitor at our house over the intervening years, racking up more fond memories than I could count. I will miss him. David
