Dr. Charles L. "Chuck" Calhoun

I am so sad that Charles is gone. It makes me so sad to find out I will never get to see him again.

I was saddened to hear about Chuck's death only yesterday. I first met Chuck in the fall of 1963 when we both pledged Beta Theta Pi fraternity at the University of Alabama. Chuck quickly became a good friend and fraternity brother. After graduation I lost contact with Chuck, but I did speak to him once when he lived in Dallas. We are so sorry to hear about Chuck´s passing. We saw him just over a year ago in Dallas, and he seemed so content with his life-surrounded by good friends, his music, and his guitars. He appeared happy and healthy, and it´s hard to believe he´s gone. With Sadness, Cynthia and Allen Mondell
