Not sure what to say?

Mr Calovini was my principal @ Lafayette Contemporary Academy we were there for the inaugural year 3rd grade. I was a smart troublesome kid who spent more time with Mr Calovini then he did with his family. Seriously Mr Calovini was always very understanding, patient & kind with me. Upon 6th grade graduation I was never in Mr Calovini´s office anymore & I was on the honor roll. I will never ever forget Mr Calovini´s compassion for me he once told me he would rather I stay in bed than come to...

Me. Calovini was such a dear, dear friend of my parents, Bill and Jeannette Pomidor, also formerly of Willoughby. My very sincere condolences to you, Geri and to all the family. I saw the note “In Memorium” in the recent NDCL alumni magazine, so I’m very sorry for this belated message. Love to you all. Barb Pomidor Chacko

So very sorry to hear about Chuck's passing. I worked with him at NDCL and I remember him as a very good, kind and understanding man who cared about everyone, faculty as well as students. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. He was a wonderful influence on me and I'm sure all the other faculty and students at Lafayette Contemporary Academy. The years spent working for him were very memorable. I wish I would have been able to offer my condolences in person. He will be missed.

What a fine gentleman to work with,a great influence on the students by the depth of his character:a soft-spoken gentleman who could honestly have said to the students "Do as I do" & they would have been just fine, as so many of them were.

Calovini Family,

Sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Calovini. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Calovini family,
So sorry to have just heard
of your loss. He was a sweet, gentle, kind neighbor these past 45 years. May Chuck rest in the Lord's peace.

So sorry to hear Chuck passed away, I heard it in church Saturday eve, if I had heard earlier I would have been there.
Chuck was one of the nicest person, Bob and I used to enjoy our outings at the bowling alley with the two of you.
My prayers are with you Gerry, Chuck is at peace with God now and we will see him again some day.

I didn't know Chuck but my cousin Loretta Styrcula Michelena graduated from Lafferty High School with him. She said he was a great guy when I saw the write up in the News Herald when he retired from NDCL. I live right around the corner from NDCL. My cousin Barbara Brennan belongs to your Church. So sorry to hear of his passing. My cousin Loretta passed away about 6 years ago. The only one left in her family is my cousin Catherine.
