Not sure what to say?

Like Mr. Cameron, I played trumpet in high school and was looking to continue in college. I was blessed to meet him and ultimately be chosen for the scholarship named after him. Although I would have never guessed it, the better part of my career has been in the financial services world. I've still managed to stay active in music, too. He made a difference in my life!

Dad, I sure miss your wonderful spirit! I thank God many times a day for your guidance in my life! You will always be my shining star guiding me to goodness, integrity, honesty and a love for family. You were the prime example of walking the walk with our Lord and for that I am grateful. I feel sure when the Lord received you in heaven, he said Well done, my son!. Heartfelt, Cathy

Papa. This is a little late but I really miss your energy and joy. You constantly reminded me that in this troubled world that there is hope, you . were the most positive force in my life at times. I love and miss you. Your great grandson, Thomas Worth.

Hearing so many wonderful things about you from your son Randy all these years; we know you will be missed. What a fabulous, long life...thank you so much for all the contributions you have made to our local Business & Banking Industry, but also to Charlotte, NC itself. What a great legacy. Our prayers & thoughts to your family, Randy & Nancy at this time. Melissa & Gabe Libutti

Randy - my sincere condolences on your Dad's passing. He had a fantastic life of contributions to business and society, and his legacy will live on forever. Gail Williams

North Carolina has lost a true statesman. My friend Cliff was a model for us to follow as the consummate gentleman and a wonderful human being. I enjoyed serving with him on the UNC Board of Governors from 1991-1997. He always put the bests interests of the University, it's students and faculty first. He showed true leadership as chairman. I am proud to have know him and called him a friend.

Cathy and Cindy, I am so deeply sorry for you in the loss of your father. He was such a wonderful, delightful man and such a caring and devoted father. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love to you both,
Gwen Cheek Spann

To Sherry and all the family: I knew Cliff Cameron as an icon of North Carolina Business. He was "solid gold" in my eyes and I share his family's loss. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. May he rest in peace.

Cathy, Cindy, Sherry and Randy......my sympathy and joy at the same time for such a long life so honorably lived. I have a precious picture of him at your Charlotte home stirring a big pot of black eyed peas on the stove. We talked about how good they were for the Southern Soul and I was so impressed he knew how to cook them. Heaven has a new Angel. Lynn Champion Selby
