Very sad to find out of Charles death. Wonderful guy. Had so many great times together. Hadn't seen him since I left Dallas.

Charlie, I just learned of your death and it saddens me. You were one of a kind and one in a million. You will be missed. Rest In Peace my good friend. I will always remember all that you told me. Love you always, V.

Charlie was one of the most brilliant defense lawyers I ever worked with. We have lost a great one.

Charles was a great man. I got to know him as a defense attorney when I became a prosecutor in Dallas County. Whenever I would run into him at the courthouse, we would talk about our families and I always walked away with a smile on my face as he was such a kind and genuine man. I am grateful that I had the chance to know him. He will be missed.

Charles Caperton was a Lawyer and so much more.❤ I have been sending Him a Christmas package for decades since he was Vaughn's Lawyer. Always Christmas candy and a worn out children's stuffed Rabbit,,,Charles told me that he was like the Velveteen Rabbit,,, parts of him were worn out,,, from being loved and loving too much.
