MR. CAPPS WILL BE MISSED. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY AT THIS TIME. REVELATION 21:3,4

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thousands have benefited from Charlie's vigilance and calls to public service -- from WWII days, his tenue as sheriff in Bolivar Co., and his careful guard of the legislature from various positions. Thank you to his wonderful, supportive family. What a true hero and patriot Charlie Capps was! How much I, and many, will miss him, too!
With sympathy,

I had the honor and pleasure of serving with Charlie Capps in the Mississippi House of Representatives from 1984 until he retired. Charlie was a good natured person who worked hard for his District and State, and he was always fun to be around reminiscing about former Legislative experiences. Charlie will be missed by all that knew him. I had the pleasure of knowing Charlie through the Mid-Delta Big I Association. He was a fine man and a very good Mississipian. As a past President of the Mississippi Professional Insurance Agents Association he will hold a special place in our hearts.

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Capps when I served as a page for the House, and then again later in my career. He was a true champion for Mississippi and will be greatly missed.
With my deepest condolences,
