Not sure what to say?

Dorothy and family,

Thinking of Charlie makes me smile. I had the good fortune to work with him and to get to know you during his time at in the Trust Department of the Bank of A. Levy. Charlie was a mentor, a respected colleague, a man of wit and character, and a real pleasure to spend time with. Happily, he was at the Levy reunion this past year; I'm so pleased to have reconnected after too many years. I'm sorry for your loss; my best and strongest thoughts are with you all.

My Dearest Aunt Dorothy, Beautiful Missy, Strong Shelly and ever the Survivor Scott,
I will miss Uncle Jerry so very much. He was the proverbial patriarch of the Carmack(Eads) family. We will always be "Double Cousins", those who know us well understand this term. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you always. Lots of Love, April

Dear Dorothy and family:
I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I will always remember his kindness and how he mentored so many of us at the Bank of A. Levy. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To all the family, I am so sorry I couldn't be there for the services. Uncle Jerry was such a staple in my life. I am very sad he is gone. He was a terrific person. I will never forget him and all of his wisdom. Aunt Dorothy, your marriage has always been an inspiration to me. I hope that you find strength in this time and always know he's still with you.
All my love,
Jen (Eads/Tarnow)

Dear Dorothy and all of your family.
My prayers are with your family in this sad time of your life. Remember all of the good memories that your family had together. I am so glad I was a help to you for your family cruise this year.
Sincerely, Lynn & Richard Lewis

Dorothy, Missy, Shelley and Scott,
We are sincerely saddened by your loss of a husband, father and good man through and through. Although we haven't seen you all much through the years we do think of you and have enjoyed a number of family get togethers and occasions with you. As with the loss of our parents, it is very sad and painful but that will eventually dim and your thoughts will be filled with the positive fun things. Jerry will always be in all our hearts. Take care and hugs to...

Dorothy
I just heard of Charlies passing. I'm so sorry. I've known Charlie since 3/15/62 the day I started at the Bank housed at 5th and A. I know how much you two loved to do so many things together and had so many friends. He will be missed

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My memories of Charlie extend back to the mid-80s when he was a key member of Bank of A. Levy management. I was introduced to him by my former associate with The Equitable and we worked together on a rather touchy issue regarding the beneficiary arrangement on a life insurance policy. We talked, we solved.

Later, he came forward to congratulate me on my joining Sacred Heart Church --I hadn't seen that he was present at the ceremony before then. That was special to me.
