Charles William Carson Jr.

Bill was a truly wonderful and most generous person. I got to know Bill when I came to Drew University in 1991 to lead the new Middle East Studies program there. We obviously shared a love of the Middle East and had many friends in common. I am now in Morocco serving at another American-style liberal arts college, but I think of Bill often. My very sincere condolences to the Carson family. I worked for and with Bill at Chemical Bank and he was without doubt the smartest individual there. Moreover, he was a true gentleman at all times, had a great sense of humor, and was always upbeat and it was a great privilege to have known him.
