Papa vient de m'apprendre la triste nouvelle et nous sommes de tout coeur avec vous par nos prières. J'ai le souvenir d'un papa très attentif et très attaché à ses enfants. Et lors de notre dernière rencontre en France, j'étais très touchée de le revoir ainsi que ta maman.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Charlie's death and I feel so helpless that all I can offer is my sympathy. Charlie meant a lot to me for many reasons. He was boss and mentor to me at a time in my life when I needed a stong role model (he insisted that I return to finish college). He was both kind and tough and always fair; he fought for what he believed in with such integrity and verve that I tried to model my own life on those wonderful characterisitics. Charlie was not...

Dear Irma: I was very sorry to hear that Charlie had finally succumbed. Our prayers are with you, and may you be comforted with the knowledge that he is in God's care where there is no pain or suffering and where you will one day join him. Trust always in God - His love will always be with you and bear you through all your sorrow and bring you again to a time of peace and joy.

As I said once before to you, Charlie was the best boss I ever had, and I always respected and like him...

Mrs. Carter, I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my humblest sympathies. I'll be thinking of you and your family often.

Our thoughts were often turned towards BEDFORD and we prayed for Charles health.
We are very sorry for Charles death and Françoise and me address our condolences to both of you, Irma and Mary-Ellen, and your family. Our regards affectionate go with you during these difficult times.
