Not sure what to say?

I've been blessed to be one of Charles Carters (Pops) granddaughters. Any one who knew him knew that he was a great man. A man who would help anyone and want nothing in return. I pray that I can follow in his footsteps and after 65 years of marriage look at my husband and still tell him I love him. (As he did with my Nannie). We miss and love you very much!

I will miss his smiling face whenever I made a home health visit to him. He was always upbeat and pleasant. My prayers are with you. Gabi from
Hope in Home Care

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I was proud to be his granddaughter to call him "pops" and look to him to dry my tears. He had a genlte way about him even though his hands were rough from all those years of construction his touch was soft and gentle. He was a very strong person and only loved one woman my nannie he will forever be in our hearts and forever be my pops. I will miss you dearly and know this you were the best pops a girl could ever have. i love you, see you in heaven.

I will always treasure the summers I spent with my grandfather as I was growing up. I have always looked up to him as a man that could build or fix anything he put his hands on. In the last few years I have come to understand just how strong a person he really was. And I will miss him until I see him again in heaven.

Mr Carter has lived a long time as some would say.But according to God's word. In the future we will live for ever on the earth.Psalm 37:29

I know he was wonderful because we now have the gift of his beautiful grand daughter in our lifes. We love her and know that must be much of who she is, she got from her grand dad. We thank you for that gift. Again, we are sorry for...
