Not sure what to say?

To IDOC2020 a true gentleman, scholar and humanitarian, may his life's work be an example to follow that all that knew him

Just wanted to know if Charles grew up
in a house at 21st & NE Alameda. And
also if Joyce was the daughter of Herb
Ambler. --??

Seldom do we take the opportunity to personally thank those whom God has sent to bring blessings into to our lives.In this I am guilty, concerning DR. Carter.So this is a belated note;
Dear Dr. Carter,God brought you into my life when I needed you,in answer to my prayers.I was on a one-way path to blindness.I had been to other Doctors,who'd diagnosed the problem,but did not think a child could handle knowing what the operation-fix entailed.So I prayed for the right Doctor to help me.You...

There's a huge empty place in Vancouver, now. Who will step up to fill it with the compassion, skills, service and great sense of humor, gone with Chuck Carter?

Chuck taking charge of Christmas dinner

Driving home yesterday, Mom and I had the same thought...that Chuck would have loved the party(s)! Forever in our hearts, made fuller by his love, he will stay.
Hugs to all his family and friends.

Dear Joyce....We were so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. We remember our "Colony neighbors" with such fondness!

Dear Joyce, Steve, Karen and Mark,
I was saddened to hear of your dad's passing. Two things came to mind, the first was his inspirational talk he did at my junior high school about his medical work in Africa and Haiti. I thought that was one one of the coolest things a person could do and often cite that as one of the reasons I became a physician. The second, his wonderful, deep laugh I often heard when visiting the Carter household as a kid. He is missed.

Dear Joyce:
How sad to hear of Chuck's passing. It would appear from reading these many messages that he has left quite a legacy. Not surprising, as I remember him as a very thoughtful and caring individual in college - it is no wonder that he went on to touch so many lives. You are certainly in my thoughts at this difficult time. Please stay in touch,
Love and sympathy, Janet Roscoe Olmsted
