Not sure what to say?

To all the amazing, loving Castagnos So sorry for your terrible loss.i remember how close Charlie was to my mother, Sunny Carballeira and her mother, Catherine Rockicioli about designing clothing. Love to all Cathy Carballeira

Dear Charlie, I miss you so much I'm thinking about all the fun we had, and our late nights at the kitchen table playing cards, drinking coffee, and smoking Marlboro lights. That was also a time for advice. Great times. I'll always remember you teaching us cocktail, and we all had cocktail names. I remember visiting you in CA, and you took me directly to Disneyland. It was so exciting. There is a hole in my heart. I love you. Franny

Please know that Charles and his family are in Robin and my prayers. Ron Castagno, son of Drs. Joseph and Mary Castagno

Charlie was certainly gifted and shared his time and talents with the theatre world. He leaves behind an amazing legacy. We will be keeping you all in our prayers during this most difficult time.

Dear family and friends, I am posting this very personal note to Charlie´s spirit for all to read because I want everyone to know him through the eyes of a 50-year friendship. Ohhhh, Dearest Charles, Charlie, Chaz! Our connection was so deep that the day after you passed (unbeknownst to me), I woke up knowing that a light had gone out in my soul. I canceled all my appointments and went to the walk-in. Yes, I was diagnosed with Covid for the first time. And yes, I have had a lingering...

Sending my deepest sympathies to the Castagno family, part of our own family. I remember well Charlie's warmth, humor, & wit. He was a pleasure to be around & enlivened every family gathering. RIP Charles Castagno; it was an honor to have known you.

I will never forget Charlie. He gave me my first book on stage makeup and hairstyles, a book on the complete life of Fred Astaire, and he taught me how to "press" a pant cuff without an iron. He also taught me a wonderful lesson ~ that not everything is as it seems from a distance. He was speaking of costumes and how they appear flawless from the audience´s perspective while up close there may be major flaws, some of which may be held together by duct tape or gum, or anything else handy, and...

To Charlie´s family - It was with deep sadness that I learned of Charlie´s death. Charlie and I were high school friends and we went to three proms together! Charlie was a great guy - funny, charming and very talented! Sending prayers and my sincere condolences to all your family. Sincerely, Jill Carangelo Ailleo
