Tom was a proud and active member of the Mt. Hood Cherokees that met monthly in Portland. He served our group on the Council for several years. Tom was always generous with his time, and his stories, and was genuinely proud to be Cherokee. He consistently gathered with us for our monthly meetings, even via Zoom during the pandemic. Tom was my neighbor and one of my close friends. I learned so much from him about life, humility, trees, fish, and gardening. I will miss his smile and laugh for the remaining days of my life. Until I see you again my friend.
