Condolences to Maureen and family. After 18 years as a school custodian and poet, I was hired to teach composition full-time at GRJC on the condition that I complete a masters degree. I treasure the years I spent in Chuck's company as a colleague at GRCC and after our retirements on the many overseas trips in the company of Chuck and Maureen. He was the epitome of the term "great guy", always with a quip and always with a hand extended, offering to help. My world will be a little less kind and a lot less fun without him. My love and condolence to Maureen, Linda, and all the family.

Maureen, I was so saddened to read that Chuck had died. He was the dearest of men, and behind the tears, I felt the joy of calling him friend and colleague. We shared a lot of laughter over the years. I will remember the good times. My love to you and the girls.
