Not sure what to say?

My wife, Amy, and I just read about Charlie's passing in St Bonaventure's alumni magazine. We have not seen Charlie for many years, but based on other messages posted here, it is clear that he lived his entire life the same way that he lived his college years as one of the kindest people we have ever known. Rest well Charlie.

Learned of Dr. Chambers demise while being cared for in the ER (was on vacation at the time of his death). Caused me to cry! \He was such a special person and doctor. At every appointment I had with him he said to call him anytime if I had a problem. He clearly was interested me and concerned about me as his patient. I will miss him terribly as I age and need more active care. May the Lord bless him and his family!

Dr Linda Chambers,
I just heard about your husband and so sorry to hear of his passing. Please know that many people are upholding you and your family in prayer during this difficult time. those prayers will uphold you in the weeks and months ahead.

Linda, I felt like a rock hit me after our phone call. You are so strong and brave. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and best friend. I can understand why you haven't grasp it all yet. I will keep you in my thoughts, wishing you peace.

I just heard the news this morning and am devastated. Dr. Chambers is what the medical profession should be all about. He was as dedicated a health professional as I have ever met and if it were not for him I would not be alive today. Who in this age gives a patient he hardly knows his home number and says "call any time?" My deepest condolences to his family, friends and co-workers.

Dr. Chambers I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. My prayers for peace to you and family.

He has been my Doc for the last 13 years...He has saved my life one than once....You will be missed tremendously

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with him on projects for almost a decade.

He ALWAYS said - and I must have heard it over a hundred times (both public, but most often in private) - that "I have the most wonderful wife." At times, he smiled and followed it up with "and I better do what she says." He would chuckle, finish the project, and rush back home.

I also remember many times hearing him say (and its too many to count) that he was "the luckiest man in the...
