Not sure what to say?

So sorry to have just heard of his passing today. Charlie got me through my first couple of years as a library director with his patience and humor. Prayers for the family.

So very sorry to hear about Charlie. As a long time City Clerk-Treasuer, I was always astounded at Charlie's knowledge of Indiana law. He always responded quickly to my questions and was always a gentleman. His loss will be felt all over the State of Indiana. I am so sorry for your family's loss.

I graduated from WCHS with Chuck in 1969. We both graduated from ISU in 1973. I roomed with Chuck our Senior year at ISU. A nice, peaceful guy. He loved life and will be missed by many of us. Walk in the peace of the Lord Chuck. God bless.

Charlie was a beloved mentor. A true gentleman, polite and patient and kind to one and all. Charlie was my go to guy for solid advice and for silly jokes. He was a good friend and I will miss him. He may not have been a famous country music star.... but he was a celebrity to those of us who relied on him. I will always remember Charlie and am truly happy that I got to know him. God bless.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Charlie's family. Dean & I knew Charlie through the SBOA and thought a lot of him! If we had questions concerning City and Town government, we knew he could always provide us with helpful information. We always enjoyed the updates on the little Town of Bargersville!! :)

We are very sorry to hear about our classmate, Chuck ! Chuck and I played a lot of basketball at ISU in our undergraduate years. He was our classmate from Washington Catholic High School in 1969 and we will honor him in our memorial tribute to deceased classmates on June 1st during our 50th class reunion. Rest in Peace, Chuck!

First Charlie worked with my father on the Board of Accounts and then I had the pleasure of working with Charlie when I represented various local governments as an attorney. Charlie was always very helpful to me. I enjoyed working with him. He was a great guy. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry for your loss. Charlie was an excellent teacher and so knowledgeable in government finance. He always made the annual meeting for library finance officials fun with his jokes. I had the privilege of knowing Charlie for 30 years and enjoyed sharing our grandchildren pictures and stories.
