McWilliams Funeral Home - Wellston Obituary

  Charles Hugh “Chuck” Moore, age 69, of Hamden, passed away Thursday morning, December 12, 2024, at his home.  He was born January 19, 1955 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late John Leonard Moore and Wilma Jean Epling Moore.  Chuck graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 1973 and was the former owner and operator of B & C Excavating.  Chuck was a very proud airplane pilot who loved flying.  He also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and golfing, but most of all, he enjoyed the time spent with his children and grandchildren.  Chuck is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pam Edwards Moore; son, Bill Moore (Amanda); grandchildren, Journeigh, Mayson, Kamryn, Madolyn, and Mayjor; sisters, Debbie Macioci and Barbara Ray (Rob), along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special cousin Linda Thomas and best friend Joe Will.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Moore on November 16, 2024.  Calling hours will be Sunday, December 15th, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Graveside service will follow the calling hours at 2:30 p.m. at Salem Cemetery in Wellston with Pastor Josh Landrum officiating.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
