Not sure what to say?

Kirsten,
I am sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Sharon Freeman

I am sorry to hear of your death. We have not seen or heard from you for many years, but as a classmate, artist and old friend your passing from pancreatic cancer hit me very personally It let me know just how blessed I am. I had to have pancreatic surgery, at St. Luke;s in August of 07, it was a large tumon but not cancer, I know how very lucky I am. May God bless your family and friends.
Your art classmate from McAlester High, McAlester, Oklahoma

Some 20 years ago a group of independent sales reps to the retail industry discussed starting a networking group. Most people said it couldn't be done because we were so competitive for business. I sat down with Charles and asked for his opinion. He encouraged us to go for it and through the years has supported us 1,000%. When we didn't have the funds he encouraged his employer to back us in having customer appreciation receptions in their store. He made sure the word was out to other...

I have lost a very special, loyal and warm friend who was always there with a smile, encouragement and a very special friendship over many years. We would often share a joke or a creative idea as only he could and reminisce with many stories of the retail/repping industry.

The world has lost a tremendous, creative talent that will be remembered by many.

Thank you for your wonderful friendship and sharing your talent. I will always carry these memories in my heart.

God...

Kirsten,

I just wanted to tell you and your family has been in my prayers ever since you told me that your Dad was sick. I am amazed that he hung on as long as he did. He was truly strong and courageous. Your Dad was such a sweet and kind man and he was definitely an inspiration to all of you. You are so lucky to have had him in your lives as long as you did. It is apparent that you and Jeremy inherited his artistic talent I hope the rest of the children did too. I am so sorry...

Charles,
When we talked a few weeks ago, you said you'd always be watching me. I miss you. I love you. You were a cornerstone of my childhood. My heart is with all those who loved Charles. He will be with us always.

Kirsten, Javier, Jeremy, Landon and Elyssa,

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. He fought a long hard battle and survived much longer than many expected. He was so lucky to have you near him these last few years. Of course, WE all miss you here in KC.

Just remember, do not focus on what you have lost, but rather remember the good times and fond memories. This is what he would have wanted for you. You now have another angel watching over you!

Kirsten, Javier, Jeremy, Eddie, Elyssa, Sarah, Will, Aidan, and Mae,

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad and Grand Dad, he was such a special man. I remember the first time I saw him, he was the most gorgeous man I had ever met. He was sweet, kind, and he loved all of you more than life itself. He was artistic and creative, and all of you are lucky to have inherited those traits from him.

He was so proud of all of you too, especially when you...

I feel honored and privileged to have called a man like Charles Claxton a friend. He was one of the finest, gentlest, kindest human beings I have ever met and left such a legacy to this world. Charles was so modest and self-effacing---he never gave himself the credit we all did for his contributions to his professional life and how much we all loved him personally. I shall truly miss him.
