It took just a few spontaneous chats with Charlie at the infamous, local Pub, and it was obvious he was a cool, entertaining, genuinely kind person with absolutely no hidden agenda about life or who he was. Over the past week, a dark cloud of despondency has loomed over the locals et al who knew him. Final goodbyes, especially to someone as sanguine, are never easy... so... no goodbye. Instaed, I'll say "Farewell for now, Charlie. Most people are lucky if they touch the lives of just a few....
