My Mom was doing the dishes. I said," Mom, this is my friend from the U of O, Charlie Cobb." Mom turned around and said to Charlie," Are you Bill Cobbs boy?" It turns out Charlie´s Dad and my Mom had dated at the U of O! God bless you Charley!

Nancy and all, I´m sorry to hear of Charley´s passing. He was two years ahead of me in school so I didn´t know him well but his mom and my mom were such good friends that we heard a lot about the family and her pride in her kids. My condolences to all.

Charley Cobb. Just his name is a sentence or maybe even a paragraph. Generous, funny, hard working, positive, successful, loving husband and father, good friend, fair boss, promoter of young people and the list goes on. Impossible to believe he has left us but I am absolutely sure he has heaven laughing. Charley, you made life better for so many. You will be missed.

Nancy: So sorry to read of Charlie´s passing. Jo and my thoughts are with you and your family.
