Dear Carolyn, Carma & families,

We are very sorry for your loss.
He touched many lives of our neighborhood.
Both of our children (Bren & Cita Sue) were baptized by Bro. Charlie.
Boyd was ordained Deacon in 1966
under the leadership of Bro. Charlie.
We have known Bro. Charlie & family
for forty years and we will truly
miss having him around.

This GREAT man of God has insured that many people truly have life after death. He was not only a GREAT Pastor but a life long family friend and loved one. All of the Ralph & Juanita May Family adored and loved this man for his life long example of leading a Christian life. He will be missed every day of our lives until we can meet with him again sitting on the right hand side of Jesus.

We are so sorry to hear about brother Charlie. He was so special to us, and know he will be missed. Our prayers go out to all the family.

What wonderful memories I have of all the Cockrell family. What dear friends they were to mother and daddy. Bro. Cockrell has such a special place in my heart. He shaped my life as a Christian, performed both Richard's and my wedding ceremonies, and spoke at Daddy's funeral. It's simply a lifetime of ties with our two families. I am thankful for, and blessed by, those ties. I know Heaven is rejoicing over welcoming this saint home. Jamie's and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. May...

What wonderful memories we have of Brother Charlie, who was our pastor for 14 years and baptized all three of our children. Carolyn and Carma, you have been blessed with godly parents and we are thankful to have been able to serve with them at 1st Baptist Garland.
