Not sure what to say?

Dear Cici and all of Chick's family.....Was saddened to hear about Chick's death, but we all know that he is in a better place.I first met Chick and Cici at Pomfret in the fall of 1952....their first year at the school. Such a warm and wonderful man and he cared so much about the school and everyone in the Pomfret community. Our class loved him so much that we made him an honorary member of the Class of 1956. He will be missed, but never forgotten. RIP, Chick and my deepest sympathy to his...

Dear family: So very sorry to hear of your loss. These words at Psalms 46:1 are a source of comfort. It reads; "God is our refuge and strength. A help that is readily found in times of distress."

I am deeply sorry for your your loss. May your heart be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times you shared together as you celebrate a life well lived and loved. Psalms 90:10.

I never knew Chic, But I am good friends with his son Billy. My great condolences go out to Billy and his relatives. I am sure from what I have read, Chic was a fine man.

I will always remember Mr. Cole and the memories I have of him at Pomfret Prep School. He gave the Eulogy at my Dad's funeral (Bill Bryson) Our sympathies to Cici and family.

So sad to hear of the passing of Chick, he was a good friend and teacher at Pomfret and later on in life we met again as he was in assisted living with my mother. RIP Chick.

Very sorry to hear the sad news of Chick's passing. I attended Pomfret from 1971 to 1975, and remember him as a fine teacher, a creative artist and a dedicated coach. He will long be remembered for his service to the school.
