At 95, Charley was the last in a breed of Trenton's colorful and outspoken bartenders/restaurant owners whose likes we probably won't see again. Quick with an opinion on many subjects, he didn't always ingratiate himself with the political leaders of the day. One thing, though, that Charley was steadfast about was his beloved New York Yankees. "They're proven winners," he once remarked. "Why bother rooting for anyone else?"
