I was sad to hear from my mother that Mr. Coniglio had passed away. The fact that she remembered him is a testament to how much I loved him as a teacher! He was my favorite teacher at Amherst
Junior High School in 7th grade. I will never forget him, he was a great teacher and taught me so much about the world and the growing up I had to do at that age. I am sure he will be missed by so many people. He made Jr High bearable!! (I especially remember his orange car with a black stripe!) Amherst High School Class of 77

I was truly sorry to hear about your loss. I was fortunate to have him when I attended Amherst Junior High and I also shared the same last name as him. His impact on his students is always evident to me as I am constantly asked, "Was he your dad? He was the best teacher!"
He was an amazing person.

We were so sorry to hear of Chuck's death. He was a caring teacher and a good friend. We have such fond memories of the "old days"; faculty parties, vacations at Myrtle Beach and our endless bridge games. Our love and prayers are with the family. Ken and Leila Bugenhagen, Dunedin, Fl.

Mr.Coniglio was my social studies teacher at Amherst Junior High. With understanding, encouragement and support he went beyond the curriculum and impacted many of us with an education in life's lessons. Mr. Coniglio was an outstanding teacher but more importantly to his students & I think to himself was his ability to instill confidence to those who were insecure,encouragement to those that struggled and congrats when they were truly earned. I was so sorry to hear that he had passed away. I was out of town & regret that I could not offer condolences to his family & tell them personally what a remarkable man Mr. Coniglio was and what he meant to me growing up. Mr. Coniglio was one of my favorite teachers of ALL time at Amherst. He was not only a wonderful teacher, but a compassionate and loving man. My thoughts are with the family and Roz who I was fortunate to teach with @ Sheridan Hill. So sorry for your loss and hope Mr. C is at peace...he will be very missed. Kristen Norton-Null class of '85

Mr. C was an incredible man with a kind heart. I learned so much from him as a student at AMS and I will always remember the encouragement he gave me to be the best in life. He will be missed.

Mr.Coniglio was one of my favorite teachers at Amherst. I used to babysit Becky and David when they lived on Treadwell. I'm so sorry! Marty Tricoli is my uncle by marriage.
