Charlie used his position unselfishly, always helping others. I recall Abner West taking me to his office 40 years ago to sign me up for a summer job with "The Board". We became long time friends. May his soul rest in peace.

A gentleman and a good friend, Charlie was always there for everyone. He helped me through some tough times and still I was luck enough to have many happy memories with him.
