Not sure what to say?

I always think if Charlie from time to time. He loved his little dog. Gone too soon; and now that I am going on 75, I realized how soon both him and my husband left this world.

Hard to believe so many years have gone by. Charlie was the smartest person I know and gave some great advice from time to time. I lost a best friend, but better from having known him.

I still miss Charlie all these years. He was my best friend. I often wonder how Kathleen is doing? I hope she is doing well.

I miss Charlie every day. Hard to believe I lost my husband a year later. I miss having Charlie as a friend to discuss life´s events since then. He was a good listener; and his advice on my career help me make wise decisions. I hope Kathleen is doing well.

I received an email today from the Chicago Tribune regarding Charlie's guestbook. Just wanted to take this time to say I have missed him dearly since his passing. With my husband now dying of pancreatic cancer, I have wish so many times that I could have talked to Charlie. I know he would have known the right things to say to get me through. I miss you Charlie. Please comfort Raymond him heaven.

We enjoyed knowing Charlie through our Sunday School class at Wheaton Free. We got to know him better when he came to our house for dinner on occasion. When my husband died on July 1, we lost two great guys at our church, They are with the Jesus they loved but we miss them.

I HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE LUNCH WITH CHARLIE LAST SUMMER..WE TALKED ABOUT THE OLD TIMES FOR 3 HOURS..WHAT A DELIGTFUL GUY..ON BEHALF OF MY BROTHER MICHAEL AND MYSELF,HE WILL BE MISSED.BUT ALWAYS FOND MEMORIES.

Charley was an active and appreciated attender in our church (Wheaton Evangelical Free Church). As Worship and Music Pastor, I always appreciated his smile and words of encouragement. He is missed by all of us.

Please know that your entire family is being uplifted in prayer. May you all find comfort in happy memories of your dad and husband.
