RIP Mr. Conrad. You were the first teach ever that treated us all like adults and lead us into being responsible thoughtful citizens.

Please accept my sincere condolences. Mr. Conrad was my government teacher at Jackson High School. (Class of 1972). One of my favorite teacher. Rest In Paradise Mr Conrad.

I am saddened to learn of Charles Conrad´s passing. He was a major influence in my life. He was my supervisor as I did my student teaching term at Jackson High in the winter of 1963. We stayed in touch after I graduated from Michigan State and went on to become a news correspondent for ABC Radio. I visited his classrooms to speak with his students. I lost track of Chuck after his entry into politics, but never forgot him and his mentorship. RIP my friend.

Mr. Conrad, yougave me a D in government but it sparked my passion in politics and law. I would get an A if I could retake that exam today. Thank you Mr. Conrad for directing me to finding my path.
