"Debra, he's one of the finest men I've ever known." A sentiment shared by so many, it clearly reflects the person of Charles Richard (Rick) Cook. Rick passed away on April 3, 2023, after a multi year battle with aggressive prostate cancer. But he would not want that to be the defining element of...

Not sure what to say?

I am one of the many that knew Rick as a great man defined by his intelligence, authenticity and supportive nature. It is rare to meet a person with all of these qualities and more including being very humble. I can envision him now sharing his theoretical views of the world in heaven with his loved ones that passed before him. I´m sure they feel enriched like many of us have from interacting with Rick over the years. Always willing to listen and help to make others better. What a great...

Sending my condolences to you, Debra, Daniel, Anna, spouse and grandkids. It was a pleasure know Rick and spend many an adventure with him and you all as a family growing up. I have such amazing childhood memories with your entire family and mine. Carlos, the kids, and I are sending all of our love and prayers for strength and comfort.

Debra, We extend our sympathy to you and your family. We cherish the memories of your welcoming and faith filled friendship and Rick's kindness and warm spirit . Rick will be missed and we pray that he is at peace with our Savior. James and Arda Widman

Debra, I am saddened by this news. I pray the good Lord gives you peace knowing that Rick has safely made passage into the loving arms of our Savior. May his memory comfort you so that he lives always in your heart. May his spirit comfort you so that you always know the peace and promise of eternity. And may the love and thoughts of others console you, so that you know you are not alone. With sympathy and prayers,

Such a beautiful tribute. Very much thinking of you Debra.

Rick was a very spiritual person and a very blessed soul. His biggest quality was his generous heart and his ability to forgive anyone or anything. Someone whose integrity meant the most to him. A man of his word and great courage. He always created ease for others and found ways to help others. I pray his soul stays at peace in his next journey and he finds ease and peace in afterlife. "If the light is in your heart, you will find your way home" Rumi.

It was both an honor and a privilege to work alongside Rick for eleven years, and the positive impact he had on my life I will forever be grateful for, as well as the beautiful friendship I was blessed to share with him and Debra. He was a shining star and a beautiful human being who will be greatly missed by so many.

I will always remember his laughter and his beautiful smile. All the dinner parties and gatherings we shared with Rick is a treasure forever.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
