Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to learn of the recent death of Charles Cook. I am William G. Franklin from Magnolia, Arkansas and now living in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In 1945, shortly after the end of WWII, my family moved into a small house next to my grandfather's house on Verda Street in Magnolia. Sometime later, in 1946, Charles and his mother, Mrs. Rhineheart, moved into the house on Union Street, directly behind my grandfather's house. I think that Charles was probably the oldest boy, in the...

Rob, I was saddened by the news of your father's passing. Judging from the many wonderful things people have written here, he obviously was a very fine man. You have much to be proud of, as did he.

Rob:
It is a great sorrow for me to find out about your dad. He was and will always be remembered as a great man, a caring man, a family man, a gentle man. It has been a great honor for me to have had the privilege of getting to know him. For that I thank you. Irene and I will continue to keep you, your family and your dad in our prayers.
We are here for you. Sincerely, Omar & Irene.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Bill & Rob,
Your Mother & Father were both extra special to my family. Reverend Cook's professional manner was true and sincere. Patsy held your father in the highest of regards. The time she was his secritary, was the most enjoyable and uplifting in her years.

What a wonderful man your father and my friend was. He made my sister so very happy. We shared the last month of her life together and I appreciated him so very much at that time. I shared a lot of E-mails with him and will miss him very much.

Not only was Charles our favorite minister, but he was admired and loved by my family very much. He conducted 2 funeral services for us--my grandfather's and my dad's in Oct. '06. He had such a calming affect through his presence and his voice during our times of grief. We will miss him very much. He baptized both of my sons-- Mac in 1980 and Mitch in 1985. My older son, Mac, was the first baby he baptized at Schreiber in 1980, and the one Charles got so tickled at when he referred to his...

We send our Love and Prayers to your family at this time.
