I was fortunate to meet and become friends with Chuck over the past few years. In spite of his health challenges, Chuck never gave up learning and contributing: to the Church, to his art and to his community. Prayers and blessings to Patty and all the family during these transitional days.

Chuck has been my friend and Pastor for many years--someone with whom I could have deep theological discussions and someone who shared the joy and wonder of the mystical side of our faith. We did not always agree on issues but the mutual respect was such that we could usually find a middle ground.
He was also a close friend of Chris', my husband, and happened to drop in a few minutes before my husband died--a great comfort to my daughter and me. He spoke at the celebration of Chris'...

Please accept my sincere condolences. May the love of family and friends comfort you through your grief and days ahead, let loving memories of Charles continue to warm your heart, Isaiah 61:1,2 "God binds up the brokenhearted and comforts all who mourn."

I was so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. He fought the good fight right up to the end with courage and dignity. He was always a rock to me, and I will miss him, but he walks with the angels now, unafraid and out of a body that no longer worked for him. See you on the other side, buddy.
