Our deepest condolences for your loss! Pete was much loved and valuable to our community. I always remember his joking around and always had that smile! He is now with God and visiting his loved ones there.

My family and I have some great memories of time spent with Pete.
Several years ago, on a mild sunny day, we hiked with Pete in the woods to gather pawpaws. Pete loved eating them at either the just barely ripe to the full on ripe stages. We stood around in the sun dappled woods, sampling and discussing, using Pet's pocket knife. He later told me he paid for eating so much at one time. We will miss him, but we feel blessed to have had him as a friend for so many good years. We pray he...

Pete was always a sweet and gentle soul to me. I appreciated his tenderness when he knew I was hurting and his genuine joy in seeing me whenever and wherever that happened.

I wish I could've met him. His memorial is the family he leaves behind! Bless you all!
