A long, Long Time Ago I met Charlie when he visited my company in Chicago. Today while sorting precious things I came across a call Charlie made for me. We never met after that but did talk on the Phone since I was reassigned to the West Coast. I wish I had looked into this sooner.. He was a real Gentleman.. Roy Roeser

To the Cornelius family, my longtime friends from the neighborhood, I am so saddened to hear of Charles´ passing. Words seem empty at a time such as this, except those whispered in the ear of God. Charlie became a friend of mine when I started working SLS in 2013 in GNC. I will miss his friendly conversations, jokes and stories, and his mentoring. I have very fond memories of the time spent working together and will miss the lunches we shared as a team with him. Charlie will be dearly missed by all who knew him. God bless.

Charles was a great neighbor. He was always willing to help and assist with any problem I had.

I worked many times with Charlie while we were at Marshall. He was a good friend and I will miss him. My condolences to his family. David
