Charlie was a special man and a great educator. His friendship will always be revered. When I shared the sad news of his passing with my three daughters, who only knew Charlie when they were young children during our year in Bloomington, their reaction was universal. "Dad, he was just the nicest man." He was indeed. Deepest condolences to Julie and Alex and Andrew.

Julie, Sincere condolences to you and your family. Charlie was one of the good guys. Dan and Peggy Mock

My sincere condolences to the Costa family. Dr. Costa and his family were wonderful next door neighbors who became good friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful neighbor to my grandparents, Armando and Remidios Yanez of Lake Station.
