Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with him at First National, and he was every bit the gentleman he has been described as. A pleasure to work with and know. I was on his Brainstorm evaluation committee. I went on a trip to Millsboro with him, and it was evident that everyone loved him. Greg Futral

I am sad to learn of Mr. Cottrell's passing. He was, at his core, an outstanding Southern gentleman, who listened intently, behaved admirably, and worked intelligently and diligently. Throughout my career at The First National Bank of Maryland, Mr. Cottrell was an excellent mentor and guide.

Faithful Blessings Bouquet - VASE INCLUDED

Charles was a great mentor to me early in my career at the bank. A very kind, wise, and thoughtful friend. Rest in Peace Charles.

Mr. Cottrell was always kind, caring and a wonderful man to work for. He was a loving family man. Always generous with his time and talents. We will stay in my memory. We will miss you. Carol.

It was a pleasure to serve with Charles on the Board of the Hampden Family Center and for many years after on the Finance Committee! His wit, wisdom, warm stories of his family, and lunches at the burger joint will be greatly missed.

My deeply felt condolences go to Charlie's family. We worked together at First National Bank many years ago where he was a respected leader and a good person.
