Not sure what to say?

Dear Ginny and Family,
I was very sad to hear of Chucks passing. I will always remember how genuine and kind Chuck was as well as you and your family. All of you have always held a special place in my heart. My Sympathy is with all of you during this difficult time.

Hi Ginny,
I feel so fortunate to have visited with Chuck during the 2007 Ottumwa/Wapello County Picnic at Pioneer Park in Mesa. It had not been that long since we had gotten reaquinted at the 50th OHS Class of '56 Reunion, but we had so much more time to chat at the picnic.
Chuck was such a "very easy to know guy", I always felt he was so genuine. Being comfortable around him was so easy.
You have to be so proud of him, as so many of his classmates are. God be with you, and stay in...

Sarah,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. If we can do anything for you please let us know. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Ginny,

My heart goes out to you. As hard as you think it will be to lose your soulmate, it is even harder than you can imagine.

Thank you so much for the picture and notification of Chuck's death. The picture is beautiful, just like the life you and Chuck had together.

Words are so inadequate at times like this. However, I want to share with you one of my favorite quotes "God gave us memories that we might have roses in December". I know you will have bouquets...

Dear Ginny -
Our time with you and Chuck last summer was so precious. We are holding you in our prayers, trusting that God will be there with you. We love you.

I was 10 years old when Chuck started dating my sister, Ginny. That was 53 years ago. He became my brother-in-law, brother and dear friend over that time. He was just about the neatest, most consistently joyful person I have ever known.

Along with becoming an important part of my family, he and Ginny gave me Shawna, Sara and Mandy - my girls. They each carry much of the wonderful purity of spirit that Chuck had.

I had an opportunity to talk with him last month about his...

Dear Ginny and family,
Jonesville UMC will never forget both of you and how you contributed to our church family! Our prayers are with you.

Ginny and family,

The news of Chuck's passing came to me this morning (2-24) through Carl Strand. You all are in my prayers. When I think of Chuck I can not help but smile even at this time of sorrow. He loved life and this quality allowed him to love his family, especially Ginny, with great gusto! All who were blessed to know him will never forget this man who loved so well.

Trudy joins me with prayers of thanksgiving that we knew him and our prayers continue for Ginny and the...

Your man was a prince. You rarely come across someone who is the genuine article but Chuck was definitely one of them. The smile, always welcoming, and the best hugs in the world. You were always welcomed literally with open arms and now he has been welcomed into God's arms. He will be greatly missed but will live in everyone's heart that has met him. He's just a prayer away....love to you all
