CRANE, Charles "Chuck" – Of Flint, age 89, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his residence. 


Memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, February 21,2018 at Corunna Road Baptist Church, G-6043 Corunna Road, Flint, Pastor Joseph Hall officiating. 


Burial of cremated remains at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. 


Visitation 11 a.m. Wednesday at church until the time of the service. 


Those desiring may make contributions to the Corunna Road Baptist Church, G-6043 Corunna Road, Flint.


Charles was born in Clinton, Kentucky on December 11, 1928, the son of Luther and Laura Crane. 


On March 17, 1994 he married Janet Adams in Florida. 


He was a musician who played at the VFW; played at Grand Rapids VA Hospital and played in a band, called The Country Pride Band. 


He was a member of Corunna Road Baptist Church. 


Mr. Crane was employed by GM for 43 years.  


Surviving are dear wife, Janet Crane; 


children, Debbie (Jim Caldwell)Crane, Donald Crane and Kevin Crane; 


step-son, Don (Kathy) Adams; 


4 grandchildren;


5 great-grandchildren;


many nieces and nephews;


in-laws, Eula (Denny);


special friends, Dan and Cathy Risener. 


He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Crane; grandchild, Tyler Moore; siblings, Harold, Gordie, Robert, Bill and Faye.

Janet and Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed seeing and talking to Chuck and you on Tuesdays at the Clio Area Senior Center. I enjoyed Chuck's singing, and talking with you, Janet, was always a pleasure. you are such a sweetheart. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. You two were definitely two of my favorite members. I'm so glad our lives crossed our paths. Love you!
