"It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Mr. Cushman. After many years of searching for descendants of Allerton S. Cushman and his son Charles, I found Charles Jr. on the internet, only to learn that he had passed away just a few days earlier, on the very day that I was in Plymouth visiting the grave of his ancestor Robert Cushman. I would have given anything to meet him. I am sure he blessed everyone who knew him. Please accept my deepest sympathies."

I knew and loved Charlie for most of my life in Camden, and Ida as well. I saw him in April at Springdale Hall and I will always remember his good looks. great charm and shinny loafers! My love and sympathy to you all.. V V Harrison
