Not sure what to say?

Charlie and I met in Seminary highschool in 1955 and had many good times together then and since! Many's thelong chat...whether it was music, movies, ancestry, history, theology, economics, politics, his latest book ...he was one of the most stimulating and enjoyable fellows I have ever known. Farewell good fellow, we will miss you very much!

I´m so sorry to hear about Charlie´s passing. Such an exceptional character should not have to leave us ever...but what do we know? There are so many good memories with Linda and Charlie and Poor People of Paris! Jill and I send our condolences knowing that Charlie has planted his tender love deeply in all our hearts. Peace to you

I will miss our lunches, Fridays at Bartolino's, and meaningful conversations. Charlie remained a good friend over the years. I will offer Mass and prayers for his peaceful repose and for strength for Linda and their family. Peace, my friend.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss from your family. I always remember the kind hospitality Charlie and Linda showed to me when you lived in the DC area. God bless your family at this time.

Another fortunate person who spent nine years with Charlie at St George. Charlie is GOOD soul that joyful and tha smartest of that very smart class. Visited our eighth grade teacher Sister Anne Louise a few years back at age 98 and spoke of those times and that class. Love communicating St George people and know that Charlie will be a SOUL of rest and love and peace. GO CHARLIE.

Amid the great sense of loss stands countless memories of over thirty- five years of friendship.

Charles and I shared 9 years together (K-8) at St. George, and were happily reconnected in Sept. 2023 when I returned to StL for my HS (CBC) 65th Anniversary, when he and I had lunch at Bardolino's (Hampton). His passing is a great loss-he was a kind, funny, immensely talented person-but heaven's gain. Gerald Furi ([email protected])
