Charles P. Danesi

Charles P. Danesi, 82, of Leesburg, FL and formerly of Wellington, died Friday, September 10, 2010. He was born April 11, 1928 in Wellington, OH. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wellington and St. Paul's Catholic Church in Leesburg, Knights of Columbus, Eagles, Elks, American Legion, and VFW Dad's. Charles is survived by sons, Carl C. (Lindsay) Danesi of El Centro, CA, Joseph C. Danesi of Wellington, and Michael A. Danesi of Leesburg, FL; daughters, Linda M. (Jeff) Welko of Stow and Cynthia (Charlie) Calanni of Westlake; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Mary (Gene) Bastian and Theresa Benach and many loving nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by his wife, Delores and brother, James. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23 from 6-8 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 512 N. Main St., Wellington and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Father James Reymann officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington with military rites.
