One of the many songs he sang and played my fav was st. James infirmary he was the man. I will miss him greatly that saddens my heart. I pray our good Lord will comfort his family, he loved his sisters so much. God bless

We love and miss you Chucky.

Thank everyone for your kind words for my brother, Charles Darden. He was a special person in so many ways, I just wish he knew how much he was loved.

We enjoyed listening to Charles when we got the chance. I know my son Elias enjoyed playing with Charles. We are all so sorry, he left this life too soon. Carroll Perrin, Elias and Bengisu Bailey and myself will be keeping his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Darden Family -

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Chucky. I truly understand your loss and pray that God will bring you peace and give you understanding. The hurt and loss remains, but time does heal the pain. I think of you guys often and remember the good times in the old neighborhood. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest and most heart-felt condolences. Only met Charles one time, we shared the stage for a gig last year...I was blown away at his talent but most of all how kind and gracious he was to me. Hampton Roads has lost a good man and a talented singer/musician/entertainer! RIP in God's loving care.

My deepest condolences. May God's Holy Spirit be with the family. I pray that he brings comfort to you all at this hard time.

Condolences to the Darden Family. Chuck was a lovely lovely man, may he and you all be at peace.
