Dear Stella and my dear family,

We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Charlie. I remember so many fun times we had with all of you when we were growing up; both at your house on Park Street and at Grandma's parties. Uncle Charlie was a happy, even tempered, gentle man who loved his family very much. In later years, he so reminded me of my dad, Jack, in looks and mannerisms. On this Thanksgiving Day, I think we are all privileged to have known and loved him. You will all be in our...

We are deeply saddened to hear of your Father's passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers. He will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

Dear DeCoursey Family,
I was privilaged to work with Charlie from 1966-1977 at the Syracuse Parks and Recreation Department. I was a very young College Recreation
Supervisor who learned many lessons from Dad. Always a problem solver, and never a credit taker he got the job done. He had a quick smile, a favorite pipe, and eyes that spoke to all equally. God bless him and the city he loved.
