Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have just learned of his death today. He was one of only two doctors who were my favorites. I was unfortunate to have had cancer and fortunate to have had him as my doctor. He was the most compassionate doctor I have ever known and showed his concern for his patients. I will remember you and your family in prayer. Sincerely, Joy McGarrahan - patient in 1999 and following until he retired.

What a true gentleman, he had your heath and wellbeing at the forefront of your blessed time you got to be in he´s company , he has help so many and will be miss by them all ,thank you ,rest in peace

I am blessed to have known him and have him as my doctor. What a wonderful caring man. I am grateful to have been referred to him as I had breast cancer. I am now a 32 1/2 year survivor. That is thanks to God and Dr. Deur. I know he was a man of God, and I am sure he consulted with him on a regular basis.

I only met Dr Deur a couple of times when he agreed to see my mother, who was not even his patient. She had cancer, and was not able to obtain a referral to MD Anderson, which he arranged. I have always been so grateful to him for doing that. It really helped my mother and me, at a very trying time. Later my wife, Marilyn K Moody, MD, who is now deceased, saw Dr Deur for years , for a minor hematological condition. She told me that Dr Deur was an extremely kind, brilliant, and caring...

A man God placed in our lives, when our daughter was fighting cancer. We cherish his memory. We will not forget this extraordinary human being. We celebrate this man of faith and astute knowledge in pediatric oncology. We thank God for directing our paths and allowing Dr to become our friend, on our journey. Mark Grisham. Minister & joyologist.

Dr. Deur was my oncologist for a year following my surgery for breast cancer at age 40. I'm 84 now. Thank you Dr. Deur.

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Deur's passing. I am praying for his family as they celebrate his life. Thanks to his skills and dedication as an oncologist, I am a 32 year cancer survivor. He always took whatever time was needed to assure that every patient's needs were met.

Dear Deur family, I had the pleasure of working with Dr Deur at TX Oncology on Road to Six Flags as a nurse for several years beginning in 1997. I learned so much about oncology there and have fond memories of those days. He was a brilliant man and a kind physician. We had some great theological discussions also. My prayers are with you all during these days ahead.
