Sorry to hear about Charlie's death. We were stationed together at Fort Knox, Kentucky and Fort Dix, New Jersey in 1959. We were both newly married and both our wives attended ETSU. We had not known each other prior to Fort Knox, but we became good friends and traveled together during that period of time.
