Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of watching Bud & Jack play many double matches at Matt & Vivian Chandler's sunken tennis court. Bud was so good at the net, we call it having "good hands". Using his signature slim Davis racquet, he made the low volley look so easy. And what a gentleman on the court. Always smiling and quick to genuinely congratulate an opponent on a winning shot. Wow! what a wonderful example to emulate.

Sending our love and sympathies to your entire family, but especially our Denison Big Red crew ( the Dentorffs). Although we never met Bud, we heard stories and saw what a great family he raised! He has made a difference in this world. Love, the Aiello Family

Bud was a very special Bronco - always friendly, optimistic and enthusiastic about all things WMU! I enjoyed having the opportunity to know him and I appreciated his support and friendship

Bud was one of a kind. Even as a student and member of WMU tennis family he was always a kind but fair advocate for many like myself that at times got track. He was in a sense a father figure to many. My condolences to the family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To the Donnelly Family, I was lucky enough to have grown up in Portage and gone to school with Tracey while also having an opportunity to play tennis with her as well. I certainly appreciated having a few free lessons from Mr. Donnelly and watching Diane and Lisa excel on the courts. My deepest sympathy to the family, Marty Williams Classmate/friend of Tracey - West Middle School
