I've known Charlie all my life. He was 10 years older than me and as a kid I remember him leaving for the service and lost track of him after he came home until I started to work at Whirlpool. The last 10 years before he retired I had an office on the roof and saw Charlie on an almost daily basis. We spent many hours sitting and talking.
