Grandpa Downey was one amazing man. The family that he raised and led was a group of lovers, mentors, and most of all friends. Being great friends with Matt my whole life and viewing Victoria as my own mother I got to spend a lot of time with Charles. In my eyes he was my Grandpa. We always had great talks especially about the Air Force. This loss I know is killing Matthew but at least he knows there is no pain. When I was asked to be a Paul Bearer I was honored to say yes.
