Chillers was my little league baseball (Otto AA) in 1951-52. He taught a bunch of awkward, but willing, kids to play and enjoy the game. He taught in such a way that we hung on every word coming from his mouth - and with good reason - he really knew the game well and he wanted us to do well too.
