Not sure what to say?

As a court reporter who shared office space in Chuck and Charles' office in 1984, I spent many years afterwards working in thier offfice, having lunch so many days with my friend, Karen, who worked there for many, many years. I felt Chuck and Charles were like family back then. Chuck was such a character. I am so glad that I re-connected with Chuck and Charles through email about two months ago. I am sad to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to Charles and the rest of the family....

I knew Chuck from the Solo Division of the ABA. From the first time I met him in 2001, he instantly became my friend. I will certainly miss him.

The Newells in Davidson feel your loss as well. We are hopeful that your gathering in Atlanta today has been a great way to share great memories.

I only new Chuck through the American Bar Association but he made an impression on me and he will be missed.

To Charles & Rest of the Driebe Family:

My sincere condolences for your loss. While I didn't know him I fondly read of his joyful & acomplished life in the obit. No doubt there was serious jaw-flapping that took place on those regular Sunday's at Bitsy Grant.

I share your grief as we laid my father, Arnold Zimmerman (83), to rest last Monday in St. Louis.

To the Driebe Family: Chuck gave me my orientation to Atlanta politics,in his "Bridge Builder" way he was a guideing light. Thank you Chuck for the memories.

Our love and best wishes go out to you Gail. My first thoughts upon meeting Chuck was how much he intimidated me. Then I got to know him. We became good friends and made each other laugh. Our common denominator was that we both hailed from the Pocono Mountains and that got us really talking. It was a bit of a car ride to our office and when he walked in, the first two things he asked for was the bathroom and then the phone. After a while, he did not even ask, he just made himself to...
