I can remember many, many summers ago. Me and my cousin Brittany were working out at the shop. Uncle Charles would come in and ask us in a joking manner, “What ya think, Skeeta Weetah: do I look good?” And that would just tickle me and Brittany to death. We would laugh and tell him that he was too old to look good. He would say, “Aww baby, I ain’t ever too old. When you get my age, you’ll see.” You know when you’re twelve, thirteen and fourteen, thirty and forty is what you call old. ...

It has greatly sadden me to hear of Charles passing. Charles and I go back back to what we called the projects. We were in high school when we became friends and over the years we tried to keep in touch. Charles was a very dear friend to me and he will be greatly missed. Everytime we ran into each other he was Charles never changed. The one thing that I admired about Charles he really loved his family and he was very proud of his boys. To his sons always remember that your mother and father...
