EASTER, Charles D. - Of Burton, age 58, died Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend David Campbell officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation, 12Noon-8PM Sunday and 10AM Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Charles was born in Flint, Michigan on February 6, 1950, the son of James and Marian Easter. He graduated from Bendle High School, class of 1968. Surviving are father, James Easter of Flint; brothers and sister, Robert of Flint, Paula of Genesee, Jerry of Burton, Steve of Gaylord and Tom of Burton; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. We need your help....PLEASE! We have the necessary bikes to give to the Whaley Children's Center, 48 of them. But now we are in need of 52 bike helmets! Please find it in your hearts to donate 1 or 2 helmets for the disadvantaged children of Whaley. Chuck would have loved this idea!! Chuck reading your guest book you were known by everybody. I have lots of great memories of you, and will cherish them forever. You were the greatest brother-in-law anyone could ever ask for. We had many good times together. Love forever, and may God be by your side.
